Johannes Wallmen, known as Hannes, is the founder of ICOM Media GmbH and has been with the house since 1997 — back then it was still ICS Media.
What he does at ICOM
He looks after the client relationships. He is both a businessman and a marketer: he does the maths, and he understands what a client actually has to sell. With some companies he has been the constant for more than twenty years.
Where he learned it
Before joining ICS Media in 1997 he was head of marketing and sales. He knows the pressure a sales team is under from having been in it — not from a briefing.
What to ask him about
A conversation that starts with your business and only then moves on to marketing materials. And one contact who will still be the same person in ten years.
